Dear Suzanne,
I hope everyone had a great Easter. I must admit, here in Southern California, the weather was absolutely amazing (yes, I know we are spoiled and no, I'm not trying to rub it in). It was about 75 degrees with the sun shining, a light breeze and bright blue skies. I couldn't help but think of words like "new" and "life" and "fresh." Easter is an incredible time to reflect on the past year. Perhaps for you it was a difficult year (does anyone want to give a testimony?) and now is the time to turn that corner and put the past behind you, look toward the future and the promises God has for you. Perhaps there have been "voices" telling you that you can't succeed, you can't take the next step, you can't reach the shore, you should stop swimming. Nope, that's not the voice of God. That's the voice of an active enemy. I love the song by Casting Crowns entitled the "Voice of Truth" an amazing song that says the voice of truth tells me a different story. The voice of truth says do not be afraid.
Check out itunes and download the song...you will be blessed. Perhaps it was a great year and you look upon this next year as building on the great foundation God has established for you. That's great, rejoice and build. Here's what I know, no matter what your situation, God is in control. Even if it "feels" like He isn't.
Well, without going into too much detail I wanted to dedicate this E4 to what God has done through LIQUID this past week. Perhaps a brief inside look at some comments, testimonies and pictures from our inaugural LIQUID Gathering in the great state of TX. The event sold out by the grace and mercy of God and He was present "in this place." I have learned so much this past year about family, health and spirituality mostly from humility, my wife Mary and a wise counselor and close friends. I have learned to love deeper and I hope I have spoke sweeter (thanks Tim McGraw) and it was great to share that with everyone who attended. We absolutely loved the people we met in TX. So, to everyone in Dallas, TX thanks for "pouring" into our lives just as much as we had the opportunity to pour into yours.
Blessings in Christ, Craig
